Individual therapy

Psychotherapy can be very helpful in addressing long standing issues you are still struggling with or to help you navigate through the aftermath of a loss you have recently experienced. I believe that to face emotional pain and to begin to let go of dysfunctional and entrenched patterns of thinking and feeling is an act of courage. The value of having a therapeutic relationship to help you explore your internal and external landscapes in resolving these issues cannot be underestimated.

Although of course people come to therapy wanting symptom relief, it is my experience that in order for that relief to be sustained people typically will have to delve into a deeper layer of themselves. It is the very relief of the presenting symptoms that can allow one to go deeper inside and better understand the underpinnings of who they are, how they got there and how they want to live differently.
